Tibetan prayer flags are among the most iconic ritual accessories and are colorful panels of fabric/cloth. They contain mantras and messages from various Buddhist idols, including bodhisattvas such as Manjushri, Guru Rinpoche, and Chenrezig. They also contain the blessings of peace, wisdom, compassion, happiness, and longevity. As per the beliefs, the wind carries the blessings embedded in the prayer flags to the people. As such, it is believed that the more the flag wears in the wind, the more blessings it provides.
